I’ve been on a yarn kick lately and I don’t even know how to knit! I just love all the different colors and varieties out there. I was able to recycle some that I had used on my Autumn Inspired Yarn Decor Balls but decided to add a rust color to the mix.
To start, I had to pick up a few things at the craft store. A Styrofoam circle, some rust color ribbon, and the rust color yarn. Everything else I had waiting to be used at home.
Then, starting with one color, begin wrapping the yarn tightly around the Styrofoam about two inches apart from each color. It’s very time consuming and a great thing to do while watching old reruns of Felicity on Netfilx. Not saying I did that or anything.
This is what it will look like finished. As you can see, on the left coloring scheme got a little messed up as I started to run out of space but that’s okay because I’ll be adding something to cover it up.
I’ve been wanting to try to make flowers out of fabric and I also wanted to use some of these old buttons I have.
And these are what I came up with. They were actually really fun and easy make and add a fun aspect to the wreath.
I love how it turned out and it’s a nice and colorful way to to the fall equinox next week!

Very pretty! It’s perfect for fall!
I’m in love with this wreath. I was making a yarn wreath and almost tabled it because of how time consuming it was getting to be but you’ve given me the push to keep making it. I’m your newest follower and would love for you to stop by.
